Long Time... No See...

Hello and how's your hair today? Yeah I've arrived in Jamaica and I've been here for a week today. The internet just got sorted out and I've quite busy, going to the beach and stuff but I've decided to finally to blog. I tell you one thing though, Jamaicans don't play when comes to hair - the styles I've seen are enough to blow me away. All kinds of crazy colours and styles and especially because it's Jamaica's 50th anniversary of Independence, the styles are just crazy. And Jamaicans party. All. Night. Long.

I'm planning to take some pictures and upload them onto here, to give you a taster of what I'm talking about. I actually saw a woman with a patch of green hair in her black hair and it honestly looked like some grass. Anyway, more on that next time. Today's post is about braids :)

I think braids are the simplest yet most effective hairstyle to be invented. They keep hair out of your face, but in a stylish way, and there are so many different types and so many different ways you can style them. Here are some braids to give you some hair ideas ;)

As you all know, Jamaica did very well in the Olympics - 1,2,3 in the 200m, and the 4x 100m relay was just amazing. The atmosphere here is absolutely fantastic and everyone is fiercely patriotic - there are flags everywhere. I am thoroughly enjoying the food and am just kind of cleansing out my body.
