Back away slowly, humidity...

Hello, and how's your hair today? All I did was take my little sister's to school do did a 'Spring Clean' in my room. So the French Braid was the style for the day :) You'll be glad to know, that I've done my homework, and I've looked up some anti-frizz/humidity control sprays, and here are the grand results!!! The links will take you straight to Amazon.

Top 5 Humidity Control Products

Redken Workforce 09

It's easy to use, light on the hair, and last for quite a while. Can be bought from Amazon, (looks at link (`-`) over there) and looks cool too.

Sebastian Re-shaper Hair Spray

Great for keeping frizz under control, and has a strong hold on hair - but not for the whole day. Also kind of makes your hair feel sticky...

Alterna Ten Hair Masque

An expensive product, absolutely well worth the money. Frizzy hair is left smooth and shiny, and doesn't weigh your hair down or give it that 'greasy look'. It also smells good ;)

 Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Zero-Humidity

If you're in a hot humid area, this product is perfect for you. Frizzy hair control for frizzy freaked hair. Works wonders for naturally tight curls and also great for those humid, hot days or at the beach where the water mist might get near the hair...

 Garnier Fructis Sleek Anti-Humidity

Not sticky, has a great hold, and probably the one of the best ones out there.Prevents hair from frizzing even in hot weather, doesn't make you hair stiff and lasts through the whole day. My personal favourite :)

If anyone has any sprays that work for them, please share! The more the merrier. So, I was cleaning out my room, when I found one of my old headbands, and I thought "maybe I should get some for summer..." So I'll be off to Claire's tomorrow, and I'll be looking at some cute hair accessories which are perfect for summer!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

As promised...

Hello, and how's your hair today? So, as promised, here are the outfits I wore today and yesterday. If you didn't read my blog yesterday, I had two sixth form induction days, in which we had to wear our own clothes. It was really good, and we plenty of new comers. So, I wore this today...

It was really hot, so I wore it just like that with a pair of very light brown jazz shoes. If you like this dress, then here's the link. It's from New Look, and it's called 'Te Amo Nautical Stripe Dress'.

There are my shoes, just in a light brown creamy colour (*-*)  (looking up at the shoes). Here's what I wore yesterday:

With...

...this lovely top, and a pair of simple black pumps with ribbon lace (if you have a style like this, remember to tuck in the blouse). Most importantly? The hair. I slept with plaits in so my hair would be all wavy in the morning, and I made a quiff and left my hair down - it was so pretty... until the humidity finally won over.

I could literally hear my hair frizzing up. (This is why I need the Argan Oil!!! see this post and you'll understand) This is where your braiding skills will save your life. And your hair's life. So before Humidity could really do some damage, I did a quick side braid and it looked so cool with quiff I had originally. If anyone knows any could humidity control sprays or lotions or even any old time concoctions from back in the day, please comment and help the rest of us. I'll also be looking...

(make others stop and stare)

Sorry but it's a short one....

Hello everyone and how's your hair today? I did a simple French Braid Twist again but with a ponytail because today was sixth form induction day :) I'll show you the outfits tomorrow, because... I had to go to my first taekwondo lesson today! It was really cool, but kind of scary - these little kids yelling RESPECT to me at the top of their voices - you would be too.
I'm sorry, but this is going to be a short one, so tired from today's events to I promise to do a huge one tomorrow :)
So my favorite song write now is 'Moves like Jagger' by Maroon 5. I actually love the song, I've been singing it all day throughout induction day, my favourite bit is the 'mo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ves' part because you don't have to be an amazing singer to do it ;) I've also been shopping online for some clothes, I'll post the pictures later, and show you what I've bought. Show me your summer clothes that you've got and comment!!!

New blog, (but I'm not leaving this one)

Hi everyone, I've made another blogger specially for sixth form outfits. I own a website called MOSAS (check it out HERE) it's a special website for simple easy and simple hairstyles that you can do quickly in the morning but look amazing - especially for school. I'm also starting sixth form in the summer, and obviously you wear your own clothes, but you have to look smart and stylish which is hard to achieve with school regulations. So I've made a blog, where there will be updates every week on 5 outfit styles that you can do so you don't look like you've recycled your clothes too much ;)

Also, check out my other blog here, it's got some cool hairstyles and tips for amazing hair (I'm kind of obsessed with hair). Enjoy this blog, because it's going to be amazing - look out for it in September!!!

And don't worry, I'm not leaving this one.

Hot today...

Morning everyone! How's your hair today? Looking for to the summer I hope! England's getting pretty warm, it's 21 degrees today, but there might be some rain (typical of England really). I'm staying at home to plan my summer, so I did quite a nice simple style, here are the pictures, hope you like it :)

Twisted French Braid

Ends in a cute little bun :)

Also, I finished my last exam on Monday, so I'm free for the summer!!! But we have sixth form induction day tomorrow, so I've put together my outfits and painted my nails, and put stars beside the styles I want to do for the two days.

I've even painted my nails.

Oh, and if you have know of any chip resistant nail polishes, that would be absolutely great. My nail polish chips really quickly and I'm getting fed up of doing them everyday. I'm also planning to go to London, and see if there are any interesting people, with interesting styles! Look out for pictures. My Dad also got me a guitar, so I'll be learning how to play properly now :)

Now my sites getting quite big, (you can check it out here :)) and I have received quite a few requests for YouTube tutorials. I was wondering if anyone out there is good at YouTube tutorials, can help me out. I'm not very good at them, so I was planning on forming a small group of people, who would be on the MOSAS YouTube channel, and basically do tutorials for the styles on the site. If it becomes successful, then I would monetize with YouTube, and share the profits. If you think you could do this, then please just contact me through Google+, or comments. It doesn't matter what kind of hair you have.  Look forward to hearing from you!

Got some info...

Hey everyone, hope your hair's okay ;) I did a little research, as I said I would on argan oil, and I must say, I'm quite amazed at what it does. I found a website explaining this, so here is extract from it -

"Argan Oil is a very rare and precious oil which has been used for centuries by the Berber tribes of Morocco. Its secret properties, which have enhanced the beauty of Moroccan Women for thousands of years, have in more recent times been discovered in other European countries such as France, the centre of the beauty world, where it is now well known for its cosmetic benefits."

And there you have it. Most importantly, argan oil is famous for it's hair straightening properties. That's right, you read correctly. This product helps keep your hair straighter, for longer, especially in humid conditions. This is perfect for me, and I'm already trying to convince my mum to get it (I'll update you on that).

Also, I fallen in love with innocent smoothies. My favourite one is kiwi, apples, and lime and I just can't get enough of the stuff.

And because it's green, it's really healthy. I absolutely love it, and what's good for me, is good for my hair ;) Please tell me what your favourite smoothie flavour is (and if you don't eat the banana ones!)

Hey

Today, my little sister's school had a Summer Fete - but it kept raining then stopping, then raining again. You should have seen the hair that just went crazy. I've never seen so many frizzy styles in my life. Some of them looked quite nice. There was this one woman who had dyed her hair purple, and when it got wet, it went so pretty and curly :)

I won't tell you about my hair.

Fine, I will - it stayed relatively straight, but only because I put it in a bun. One word of advise to you guys - if it's raining, putting your hair in a bun will save you less stress from the defrizzing. Trust me. And now my hair smells of smoke from the barbecue, which was really nice, but come on. Who want's smoke smelling hair?

I have a new mission for the summer (besides learning the guitar) and it's to grow my hair two more inches. It's currently twenty four inches long. Any tips on how to grow it faster? Also I've discovered this new product called argan oil. Apparently, it straightens your hair or something... will get back to you on this one.

Howdy ;)

Hello everyone :)

How's your hair today? Mine isn't doing too well, so I put it in a messy bun (very handy), and went out. Lots of people said they liked my hair, and I just slyly smiled and nodded. You know me ;)

I made another page on Squidoo, and it's about parenting teenagers - but from a teens point of view! Check it out HERE. For those of you who don't know, Squidoo is like the informal Wikipedia, but just more fun! You can create pages on whatever you want, like 'the best places to walk your dog' or 'great places to go on a date' - whatever you like, because everyone is good at something. Check it out here! :)

Also have you been watching the football? Who's the hottest player! (I think that would be a really good poll, so look out for it!) Who do you think is going to win? I think Germany, because they're really good... I'm supposed to be supporting England. Ah well. If they get to the finals, I'll do a blog post on everything good and nice about England. Especially the hair. In fact - whichever country wins, I promise I'll do a blog post of all the things nice about them.

Introduction

So, I'm going to introduce myself properly. My name is Stacy, and MOSAS is my website, trademark, company - whatever. I'm 16, just finished my GCSEs, and I'm now looking forward to a really amazing summer. I really hope my site gets big because I want to show the world that no matter how young or irrelevant you may feel - you're not. Everyone is special and is good at something. You've just got to find that something and make it your own and excel in it.
Good motivational bit there. More about me and MOSAS. The idea came one day when I was searching for styles to wear to school - they had to be easy and quick, but stylish too. I found a few, but it took me AGES. I thought to myself, "Why aren't there any websites for easy styles for school?" And then it was like someone had slapped me round the face. "Why don't I make one?" I almost fell of my chair at the revelation. So here I am. Your support has given me so much encouragement.
