Grow Like Magic...

Hi and how's your hair today? After some extensive research, I've found some interesting ways to make your hair grow - by the end of the year we should all be Rapunzels.

Hair Massages:
I've heard (read) that massaging your scalp can increase the rate at which your hair grows by 3/4 of an inch per year! Yeah, it isn't a lot, but yes. There are many reasons why, but it has something to do with natural hair oil, and stimulating the scalp can increase the rate at which the hair is pushed out or something... But every little helps.

Sea Kelp Supplements:
Lots of people claim this makes your hair stronger, and personally I haven't tried... I've looked around, and apparently it makes your hair stronger and therefore more resistant to split ends. This then means you don't have to cut your hair as often... aka longer hair, faster!

Protein:
Eating a BALANCED amount of protein can make your hair grow, since your hair is largely made from protein. Note how I've capitalized the word BALANCED. Remember to eat other vitamins (such as zinc and iron and calcium - biology student right here) because I can't be running away from nobody's mama, asking me why their child is sick. Back to topic, since your hair is made from protein, it's good to give your body what it needs to literally make your hair grow.

Stress and Sleep:
Stress can make your hair look dull, unhealthy, break, and not grow. One of the ways to combat this is to get enough sleep. No matter how young you are, you can get those grey hairs... and that's just awkward.

Styling and Brushing:
I know we all want to look hot, but too much heat and overuse of chemicals (perm, hair dye) can be destructive. Don't use rubber hair bands, because that can rip your hair at the root - even in the middle. Oh and don't brush your hair excessively, as this can actually strip your hair strands of the nutrients that surround it and pull out hair hair at the roots.

Hope this helps, the most important thing to take is away is that you must be patient. Don't expect it to work overnight but over a few months, and be consistent!

Oh yeah, and I did my nails :) WHO IS THIS???? (Brits should know this)

ITS MR TICKLE :DDDDDDDDDD

Love y'all

That Fever...

Hello and how's your hair today? I've been terribly ill, but I'm proud to say I'm still rocking the great hair! (even though I literally looked like a zombie.) I was ill for the whole weekend, but I'd done all my homework already and was able to completely go out of it. To be honest, I should never be sick again until this time next year after the intensity of that illness. Anyway, back to hair...

Being inspired to my non-adventurous misadventures, I decided to a post on styles that literally take 30 seconds - 5 minutes for those times when you can't be bothered, when you're sick, or when you're in a hurry. Stylish and cute - but fast ;)

Trust me when I tell you I've had plenty of those days, but doesn't everyone? I really like the last one because it's so simple but you can look absolutely stunning with minimum effort. I've taken to straightening my hair even less nowadays, because let's face it - who wants to be bald by the time they reach 20? Also trying to grow my hair out really long down to my waist (pray for me guys) so next week's post will be on hair growing tips. From healthy eating to miraculous, old time bubbly concoctions, I'm gonna make my hair GROW.

Prom Again

Hello and how's your hair today? Obviously this being England, it's impossible to avoid rain and ruin your beautiful hairstyle - especially in the cold autumn/winter months. I have resorted to carrying an umbrella permanently in my bag (even though it takes up more room in there), and am now having to shove my school books in even harder. What's even worse? When your friend (who happens to be a boy with short hair that does not need protection from the rain) runs off with your brolly. What is life.

Anyway, that aside, since my last blog about it was so popular, I've decided to to talk about prom again. Yes it's coming up to that time for the American's (English people only have prom once a year in the summer), and I've got some really nice styles - you can wear them to parties too.

If you can do any of these styles, then you deserve a round of applause. Seriously. I applaud you. I did get my rabbits by the way here's a pic :D

Love them so much <3 3="3" actually="actually" but="but" nbsp="nbsp" one="one" other="other" p="p" s="s" somewhere.="somewhere." the="the" there="there" went="went">

Going to do another post on prom so don't cry on lack pictures.
